This rap (English, Pidgin, Twi languages) tells the tale of a complicated romance – a tale of two broken hearts.
The video, which was shot in Brooklyn, New York USA, sees director Garth Von Glehn (Film Fam) skilfully weaving between the happy and frustrating moments that characterize many romantic relationships. Von Glehn focuses on the emotional detail of a relationship’s toughest times with stylistic elements of organic retro chic.
An aesthetically minimalist video, we see the two protagonists, M.anifest and his love interest (played by Aube) reminisce on the vicissitudes of relationships - happy to sad to angry all over again. M.anifest plays an avant garde avid 8MM filmmaker who blurs the lines between life, love and art.
